Northtrop Mulberry

Here's my Northtrop Mulberry that I got from SLN in 2011. A few are starting to turn black. This is it's best crop yet. I'm hoping it will lure the birds away from my cherry trees.

No I believe they are two different varieties. Northtrop may be hardier???

I wish I had room for a mulberry tree in my home yard. Neighbors would probably shoot me for all the purple bird droppings !!

Grey - How big is that Northrop mulberry tree now ?? Was it a whip when you planted it ??

Yes it was a whip, now it's 15+ feet tall.
