Neat Hunt

Do not watch much hollywood hunting these days due to the excessive product pimping but I still watch growing deer tvs live web show. Find it interesting as allot of the hunts are filmed in my home state and similar terrain as our place (big woods rocky ridge country). This hunt was cool. Looks like this guys management is paying off with a plethora of mature bucks for southern Mo. Referring to the Jan 1 vid.

Link is taking you to most resent Jan 8th vid. I was referring to the Jan 1 hunt

That's the only show I can stomach. They do their share of shameless pimping, but there's something I like about the show, the message, the science, and their approach.

As an aside...in the latest episode the KY crew finally harvested a buck they called swoops after hitting him with an arrow the month before. I would love to have seen a bit of post-harvest discussion about that arrow hit and why it failed to kill the deer. Dr. Woods' production team is usually pretty good about doing all of the science and then passing that on to viewers.

yep i agree
you should message Grant. He may have additional footage that they edited out that he could do a small bit on next month. He has directly responded to me on FB several times.

My sons and I attended a seminar by Grant Woods 2-3 years ago. He is certainly well versed in deer and habitat. Was definitely worth the time to go and I would again if the opportunity presented itself. The best thing about him was he was down to earth. He also didn't back down from his viewpoint when challenged by others. Told it like it was.
