This is a long shot as it's already dried out but I noticed this Radom patch and I don't know my grasses.

Real hard to tell when it's dead.

But if it was a game show and I had to guess, I'd go with Johnson grass for $200...

A better shot of the seed heads, if there are/were any might help too...

This is approximately a 6 by 6 foot patch.. hopefully it's not something bad... I never planted switchgrass, but it looks like it would make good bedding cover. Next time I'm over there I I'll see if I can get a close up of a seed head otherwise I'll have to wait for the spring thanks.
