My internal debate on implements . . . need advice

I’m in northern Missouri. We have a pretty high deer density.

They killed an acre of them, worse than my beans. But, you may have enough to stay ahead of them. 5-6 acres is enough beans for me, if I get rain where they are growing normally. This drought year was a different story.

I think there’s a zero percent chance I’ll get anything less than 3 acres through the deer browse if it’s beabs or sunflowers. Only exception to that would be some forage soybeans...which I’m going to try again this year (only planted them once but had great results with them). The drought would have been a whole different story...hard to beat Mother Nature!
