My Century Farm trees

Received three trees from Century Farm Orchards yesterday. Nice looking whips on MM111 rootstock. A Black Limbertwig, Sweetnin, and a Clark's Orange.

Nice roots on all of them.

Are they going into a nursery or right into permanent locations ??

They will go to their permanent "homes" this weekend. Window screen, 5 gallon bucket of gravel, and concrete fencing and they will be ready to start growing next spring. I've had good success with fall planted trees.

You're right, those are nice looking trees, and roots! Sure looks like they have a pretty location for their permanent homes. Any particular reason you selected these varieties?

Black Limbertwig: I read many good things about this apple (good flavor-disease resistant) from different sources on the internet.
Sweetnin: Offered only by Century Farm, it's described as a very hardy tree with very sweet fruit.
Clark's Orange: The only known tree was found in Seneca Rocks WV. a place I visit often on vacation.

I'm a "sucker" for old "oddball" varieties.
