I put a bucket in a box stand with a mouse problem. When I got back a month later it wasn’t pleasant.
One of permanent stands is now nicknamed the mouse house. we have 8 or so and only had trouble with mice in one. My young boys named it after finding 4 dead mice in it thankfully they must have died about March and the smell was long gone by October.
