Measuring the right amount of water for a sprayer

Not needed for a small sprayer but for a big sprayer I always had a hard time getting the right amount of water. Just try finding a level place to be able to use the marks on the tank.

This is a hose meter. Not cheap but priceless IMO

That's pretty cool. So it's showing 4 gal? what do you have it in?
We always just timed how long it took to fill a 5 gal bucket to 5 gal. measured with 5, 1 gallon fills. Then used that to determine how much water we were adding by time. That would be handy because you don't always fill from the same place and you aren't always setting on level ground.

No it's several years old. That's 4225 gallons. My only compliant is it doesn't have a reset button so I always have to do the math. And no I haven't sprayed that much but I do always triple rinse and measure that to. Cleaning a sprayer does wonders. Mines from the 70's. Keep her clean and it keeps going. :).

Very cool Bill.
