I have planted several. Havent had any of them grow worth a dang. I have one that is ten years old and is about five feet tall. Going to try to more bigger sized trees this year. I have no advice.

I bought a couple of 5 ft swamp mayhaws from tyty last year and theynever leafed out. This year I bought to instant orchard sized Reliance trees from Willis Orchards. Not sure what variety I have bought in the past. They are still alive - just not doing much. Northern edge of zone 8

It’s interesting how ty ty says zone 3 but Willis says zone 6 or 7.

I guess they like shade?

I have about 10 I planted over the past three years in south Louisiana. They were all 1-year-old seedlings when planted. The oldest are probably 10-12 feet tall. No fruit yet, but I am hoping to have some this year. I started them in trees tubes to protect them from the deer and my dad when he mows. I pulled the tubes on the oldest ones last year. I tried growing some from seed last year and they died in the August heat.
