Looks like an apple tastes like a pear.

I have a wild tree at my place that i discovered about 3 years ago, with small fruit that is apple shaped but tastes more like a pear and pear texture, but the funny thing is that i swear they tasted like apples last year. The fruit is actually pretty tasty.

Very nice! Wish I had some trees like that at my place that I could discover....I just keep discovering more honey locust trying to start in my orchard.

As long as it tastes good its a good find. Some apple varieties such as Hudson's Golden Gem are described as pear-like.

It looks pear like to me in terms of leaves and fruit. Regardless great find!

I agree, even the bark looks more like pear, but i have had 100 percent success rate top working apple to this tree, on the right is Arkansas black that i grafted this year, and on the left is a wild apple that i grafted last year that seem to be thriving. I started grafting it over when i wasnt sure if i wanted to keep the tree "original" i will probably end up keeping the original leader on the left and the one on the right, and cut out the middle one.

They sell an apple pear at the grocery store. Maybe that's what it is?

Looks remind me of a Nashi,
Ran into a bunch of them when I went backpacking through Australia last year.
Only way I could describe it was they took the worst parts of a pear an the worst parts of an apple an combined them.
Actually grew to love em
Slept in a tent in a fruit orchard for a month, ate a couple every morning for breakfast.
