I don't "think" so.....I don't recall mine having the "hairs" off of the seed pockets like that. I'll search my photos and see if I can find one of switchgrass seed head....

PS: The gun sight where the blade joins the stem is a sure way to ID Indian - even when not flowering.

So it looks a lot like the Indian Grass in Native’s picture. But, not anything like what I thought indian grass looked like. Now I will have to get a picture of what I thought was Indian Grass
