Is This Fireblight?

Moonglo pear. Has bloomed the last three years and never set a pear. Is this fireblight? Is so, it wont bother me to cut the tree

No, it isn't fireblight. It's just normal for pears to have a few leaves that look like that occasionally. It's nothing to worry about.

Usually, from what little FB I've seen the leaves shrivel but it spreads to the branch. this looks like only the leaves are damaged.

I have that on my pears also,fireblight will do what is called a shepards hook and it will usually be a really dark brown at least from ones I've seen

Agreed don’t think it is FB. My pears have a lot of stress damage this year. I don’t know why perhaps because we had an extended period of weeks in late May thru June with no rain - zero. I really don’t know.
