Could be. Flag it well and look at the branch for the same shapes next year. Of course the sport is a mutation. Most mutations may not change the fruit in any improved way (size, shape, taste, color, ripening time, disease resistance, etc. Compare EVERY difference you can identify. IF it has marketable qualities then that would be something!
