If you are going to set a bunch of dog proofs around the feeder make sure you space them out far enough. I have caught several coons by a bird feeder in 2 traps at once. The stupid things don't learn fast and put their free foot in the other trap. I use grape jelly with a couple mini marshmellows in my dog proof traps.
