His sheds were found

biglakeba$$

5 year old buck +
I got this guy on cam a few times over the fall and winter.

His sheds were found 1 mile north as a farmer was tilling a cut corn field a couple weeks ago.

What a stud! Be fun to be on the lookout for more cam/vid pics this summer/fall. Cool character.

I bet he was glad he didn't find them in a tire.

Cool set of sheds to have, at least you know he made it through hunting season. Good luck with him!

Awesome! Perhaps the mild winter will let him really take off this year. Good luck!

Biglake, what state are you in ?

That is an incredible deer. Lucky finding both of those.

Nice set.

That is one hell of a set!

Beautiful, I'd call him Poseidon with the trident looking g2 on the right

Mark, I hope your family gets him.
One of my clients got back a mount of his 2014 Ottertail County buck. It was 150 inches plus or minus.

That is an impressive buck!

Probably the most impressive thing about the buck is that he doesnt appear to be very old.

Mark - He will be a real stud this fall. I bet he puts on another 20 inches. Probably not a lot more length but more mass for sure. You have some great genetics in that area. I know over by my cousins (not too far away) they have shot some studs. I wouldn't tell too many people sine he might get poached. We had three deer poached off of our land this year. Luckily they caught the kids.

.... the potential is nothing short of fabulous in the area...
Did u go through the inspiration peak area by chance?

Any pics or evidence earlier in the year?

Do you have any evidence as to where he might be bedding?

I would try to nail him down early season, and kill him ASAP. That buck is what it's all about.

Figured that was the route you took.
You were 4 miles or so due south of our place when you hit inspiration Peak.

Yep... said it many times.... best deer country in MN along with SE MN.
and our deer numbers have been crushed over the last 10 years....
Our property is the same as what you saw as you drove by The Peak....

Yet our manager sits in his office saying we are stable and strong with deer numbers.
