Henry Single Shot front sight replacement

I don't think it's rocket science (but don't wan't to butcher it) does anyone know the proper way to remove the original front sight in a dove tail and replace it with this fiber optic sight ?. Do you need a padded gun vice and maybe a brass punch ?.

One side tight, other side loose. Take vernier claipes and measure, usually right side is wider machined than left. Nice smooth taps. MAybe hamer down lightly on dovetails before replacing. Get sights good use locite bushing retainer. Much much easier if you already have dovetail. Had to cut dovetaisl on bare flintlock barrels for 2 or 3 guns.
