Help needed

Hey all, I am looking to paint my roughly 100 year old oak cabinets. I was thinking either white or beige, let me know what other colors would look good!

Anybody painting oak cabinets needs their head examined

I like oak flooring, natural finish. Oak cabinets not so much. If they need painted I figure time to replace.

Ever walk into a historic house with detailed Chestnut Trim that someone painted in the 60's?

I cringe every time..

I would check on having some new doors made and whatever color you want and save the oak panels

I painted my old golden oak kitchen cabinets and trim in the house from the 80s white. It turned out well, but was a lot of work. I think color would depend on color of the room. Is the oak currently stained a specific color?

Painting 100 year oak, you got to be kidding me. Paint belongs on drywall not wood.
