Heartbroken

Sitting with my youngest golden retriever Winnie on my lap brokenhearted. To soon to say goodbye.

My oldest (2) daughters best friend. The nicest dog you would meet.

Ran over in front of the house and the guy just drives away. (On video camera).

First hunting memory is her diving in a slough at 8 months old showing no fear to retrieve a pheasant 30ft from shore.

The last, a couple days ago finding a crippled rooster I had given up hope on finding. She caught a scent and snowplowed through 7ft tall cattails for 5 ft to pin him down. Almost couldn't belive it.

This stings.

Sorry to hear, she looks like a sweetheart. Lost my first lab to a car collision, horrible way for those dogs to go out.

Sorry to hear TT, they create a special bond with us. Had to put my best buddie, Thor, our yellow lab down about 2 months ago. They may leave us physically, but they never leave our hearts.

That’s a really nice looking golden retriever and it is really sad that it died so young.

I’ve had 4 goldens so far and they are special dogs.
