Hazelnuts from St.Lawrence

Anyone ever try them? I was going to try some hazelnuts this year but theirs are 4x as much as coldstream. Theirs are a hybrid, not sure if that matters. My concern with coldstream is you get one root per tree so wondering if it might be worth it to spend the extra money for a higher success rate.

I bought a hybrid hazelnut from St. Lawrence and planted it in northern WI and it's doing pretty well. I think it's about 3 years old, but it hasn't produced any nuts yet. I just threw it in the ground and caged it up and walked away and it did fine. I live 3 hours away from my hunting property so I wasn't able to water it at all.
