Ground cover

tooln

5 year old buck +
The wife and I were out to the property yesterday getting a spot ready for her little grape plot. The plan is to get it ready this year and she can plant her grapes next year. The area we opened up is about 1/10 an acre. I plan to put in winter rye this fall to help build some organic matter and weed control. Once she plants her grapes I need something for ground cover and we want something that is very low maintenance. Any suggestions.

Regular Dutch White "lawn" clover does a great job in a buddies commercial orchard, I can't see why it wouldn't work in a vineyard.

I was thinking some sort of clover would be the answer. Thanks
