I did not taste any or ask about ioensis. I did see one or 2 of it or hybrids. Also some m. Angustifolia. I saw Hansen's #2 but I'm not sure of that crab's parentage.
Really should have come with a list and map of the locations in the orchard.
Thanks for the pic of the Hyslop crab. We have one at camp and the apples look exactly the same. I believe they turn and get mealy / dry / pethy in fairly short order. I haven't tasted one while they were at peak ripeness - I always seem to wait too long until they aren't good eating.
