Granddaughter scores

9 Year old granddaughter visiting from Colorado wanted to go hunting with her grandfather. She got her hunter safety card in Colorado last weekend and was pumped to go hunting the day after Thanksgiving. So attentive in the stand. She actually saw several deer before I did. (young eyes I guess). So at 7:30 AM a nice fat doe gave her a broadside shot at about 50 yards. It was a bang/flop. I swear I get more excitement and enjoyment in mentoring a young hunter than I get out of shooting one myself. Pass on the tradition every chance you get my friends.
