You've been busy starting plants.I have onions, peas, and lettuce growing. Picked all my asparagus last night before this mornings freeze so none would get injured. Tomatoes and peppers were started inside under lights and won't go out til Memorial Day. Got a bunch of flowers started inside too. Purple coneflower, bee balm, and asters are perennials to go out into the orchard. I also have strawflowers, carnations, snapdragons, Amaranth, and Celosia started under lights to go in the garden. Going to start pumpkins and melons inside tomorrow.
I've grown peppers from seed in the past, but they seem to grow slow and mine ended up spindly since I didn't have a fan on them in my little indoor greenhouse. In hindsight I think room temperatures weren't high enough for the peppers to thrive. In the garden they don't seem to grow very quickly until the hottest part of the summer, so the 68 degree indoor temps might not be enough.Anybody grow peppers from seed? I tried last year and it was a complete flop. I'm about 90 days out from the safe frost free planting date. I'm considering starting my peppers in the next week. Last year, I started them 5 weeks early and that wasn't nearly enough, nor did they grow at all after June 1st.
I'm also going with a couple new large cherry tomatoes for this year. I'll start them around mid April for a June 1 plant out.

Grand Rapids, MN areaWhere are you located? I struggle with peppers in my northern location. Have to start them indoors in February or March, then harden them off in late May and get them planted out. A cloudy summer will basically stall them out.
