Fruit ripening date chart for my area

Native Hunter

I found this link on the Internet that shows fruit ripening dates for my area of central Ky.

The note at the bottom says it can be 5-10 days earlier in the western part of the state and 5 days later in the eastern. That's 15 days possible difference from east to west.

Lot's of popular cultivars listed. Thought you might like to compare with where you live.

I don't have that one so can't confirm the date for it. But have heard it was a late apple.

Amy idea how to translate these dates to northern latitudes?

No, but I thought that some of the northern guys who grew some of those varieties might comment on the difference at their places. That would be interesting to me too.

You might try searching for "days to harvest from full bloom". I know the Penn State Tree Fruit Production Guide has a table with a number of different varieties listed in it. Not sure if you can access that table on-line.
