Sorry just noticed thread. You must be in Virginia with apples that big already. I think I may have some winners this year. I am so far behind this year I might have been spared. All the way up, even a couple miles away everything was full bloom. My place tight cluster at best. Those trees in bloom probably got zapped. One more chance of frost tonight then we are going warm for at least 7 days. If all goes well I will have the majority of the apples for miles. More importantly going forward on the trees I have planted some varieties are just breaking bud. Wolf River, Enterprise, and Gold Rush, are still barely out of dormant stage. That holds well for future when they start producing. Thanks for the pictures. I will use them for reference if we can stay warm for the next two weeks.
