eat your heart out

It's my favorite part of the deer hands down. Simple to cook, just crock pot it some some cream of mushroom soup and you are good to go.

Fresh from the field, never frozen. It don't get any better than that. It was a first time for a couple guys in camp and although they were a bit hesitant at first, they are now addicted! :D

I got scolded from an older friend of mine in his 60's for leaving the heart with the gutpile from my bow buck. Some day I will have to try it.
