I planted it in 1995.

They make great applesauce.

They're supposed to make a red jelly as well. Some of the best I've made was crabapple.

You do not need to add any pectin when using dolgos for jelly.

Nice pix Grey. Our Dolgo's are just beginning to fruit in somewhat larger numbers, but not like yours. The tree with the most fruit has about a dozen apples on it. I can't wait to get heavy crops like that on our Dolgo's. I love the taste of the couple I tried last year - tart - but tasty !!

Greyphase if you get a chance / don't mind, love to see a picture of the entire tree just to get an idea what size it's reached / form it has. Planted eighteen two years ago so they've still got a LONG time to go before they look like yours!

Here you go. No clue as to what rootstock it's on and never pruned it until about 5 years ago.
