Dolgo Crab - broke what should I do?

Need some help. What should I do with this Dolgo Crab. Came into the plot one day and found the tree broken off.

There is a small branch that is coming up below the break. The tree seems to still be alive.

Carefully cut he trunk off (at a slight a=gle to horizontal) just above the side branch. It will be fine.
The side branch grew after the top was broken off, so yes, its still alive.

Did this a year ago with a Dolgo that a bear snapped off. It literally took off and looks close to the other trees that were planted at the same time as the original tree. It will be fine after doing what the Professor said.
