What would cause a disk to throw dirt to the outside and cause a high spot?

Also, my front blades are not disking about 3 inches down the center but I do not see an adjustment for them.

The gangs are adjustable on most discs. What type/brand of disc are you using? Pull behind? 3pt? Setting the discs as straight as possible is the least aggressive. I went with the straightest setting on my 3pt disc the last few years. It's not as hard on the equipment and I have mostly been using the disc just to rough up my clover and set the weeds back. Smooth blades or notched or both on the disc you have?

It is a Landpride 2572 3pt.

I’m not as aggravated by missing the center as much as I am throwing dirt and making a long mound on both sides to pass. Makes for a bumpy field. I’m not sure of the right setup.

It’s used mostly for pre tillage after burn down and before a tiller. I’m about to junk it because it leaves such a rough field.

Should be able to adjust the top link on the 3pt by turning it. This will let you get the front down farther and then it should be making contact with the ground. If you have just one side of the disk digging in way more than the other you can adjust the lower arms individually to get it level from side to side. The top link adjusts your front and back of the implement. If you can't turn the top link try lifting or lowering the 3pt in small increments. Somewhere in that up and down cycle it should give you a sweet spot where the top link will turn a lot easier. Sometimes I have to do the up and down a few times to get it adjusted where I want it.

Going a little faster with the tractor speed will smooth it out more than go really slow. Should have some type of 3pt depth control on the tractor controls. Remember to lift the disc when you take turns or you'll take out the bearing in the disc and maybe damage the bottom arms on the 3pt. Don't ask me how I found out please.

Looking at the model disc that you have I think once you adjust the front downward you will be discing in the center. Appears that the rear gangs have a gap between them so if the front isn't low enough you're not getting any contact in the center. Just going by the picture.

You can take some of the gap out of the rear by setting the rear gangs more straight. That will bring things closer together.
