Deer Reduction Zone Bowkill

Indiana has deer reduction zones where you must first shoot a doe, then you "earn" an extra buck tag for the DRZ. Shot this doe yesterday evening in the wildlife habitat where I work. Must admit, my heart was racing when she came in. Double lung, ran 40 and piled up. First kill of the archery season.

It’s funny how we (I anyway) can watch does with no excitement and then that all changes when you decide you’re actually going to shoot one, then the jitters come on.
