I feel like an old mother hen, so I will be brief… I know you’ve heard it before, and I’d be shocked if my message is heard, much less heeded. But speaking as if I were among my friends, and setting our politics aside for a moment (they wouldn’t for long, but they would listen), these are some thoughts on Covid vaccinations.

1. The odds of an un-vaccinated person contracting Covid is far higher than a vaccinated person (roughly 90+ vaccine effectiveness)

2. The symptoms of Covid vary widely, from none to death, but one does not know until they contract it how it will affect them.

3. Once infected, even if you feel nothing, you’re exposing your family and friends to it - and their reaction to infection may be far different than yours.

4. The cost of caring for those infected has a financial impact on the cost of insurance, publicly and privately funded. Not to mention the impact on the patient’s personal finances.

5.) Even if small percentage of Covid cases end up needing hospitalization, the high volume of infected, means these patients still take up space normally being used for other purposes.

We should start another thread for politics, and the “funny pages”, this issue directly impacts our personal health, and that of our families and larger communities. Ultimately, we all make our own decisions and are bound to live by them. Believe me, I respect that and would never wish ill on anyone. So, sorry to be the nagging old mother hen… but I love ya man!

And now... back to politics
 
Unfortunately politics are so deep in this whole bs situation you can't get away from it. This has become a massive government power grab. If this would have been handled and reported normally from the start it would have never been labled a pandemic. Intentionally blowing up the numbers, instilling irrational fear in the public, etc are all just ways of keeping the masses under the thumbs of the government and the accomplice media has been a willling partner in all of it. Its unfortunate yes, but it is where we are now.
Look at ot this way, school boards and teachers unions have been the loudest, railing for schools to be closed, mask mandates, vax mandates etc.. doesn't it seem a little fishy that "positive" cases are supposedly exploding right at the start of a school year? Kind of a coincidence dont you think?
Dont you think its a little weird how no one dies of anything but covid anymore? No one has a cold? No one has the flu? Yet EVERYONE has the covid? Thats not a little fishy?
This has been politically driven from literally the birth of covid 19 to now and will continue to be until we decide to say enough.

The vax doesnt affect contraction of the virus, the "experts" have been telling us that for some time now. So whats the benifit?

That is false, 74% of people that got Covid in a CDC study were vaccinated. This study was in MASS which has a statewide vax rate of 70% and this was largely Mass people.

2. Some people have to be tested to even know they have it, the US has the data but is NOT transparent on how many that did test positive but were asymptomatic,. But other countries have tracked and released the study "between 13 March and 4 April, 13.3% tested positive for coronavirus. Of that infected group, 43% reported no symptoms at the time of testing2. “This study was the first to provide high-quality evidence that COVID-19 infections are frequently asymptomatic,”

3. Vaccinated or unvaccinated you spread Covid equally, there is literally no evidence that your vaccination status changes your chances of spreading Covid. An argument could be made, since it is alleged that Vaxxed people suffer LESS symptoms that they could spread it more than the unvaxxed people given that there are more vaxxed (70% in the US) than unvaxxed in the US. Also it is well known that for the most part the safety measures are stricter on Unvaxxed (mask rules etc) people so that would also go against your point my friend.

I am at work and have to work so I will stop there.
 
I'm amazed at what is happening in Australia. I hope the pro-vax people are watching. They allow the vaxed and extra hour out of their house. LOL What the government is doing there, tells me all I need to know about what is going on with Covid.
 
I think they believe if they tell us the same lie enough times that we will start to think it's true. Another huge backfire in my opinion. Very few people believe or trust the government now. People are finally starting to see what's what. Sleepy Joe. This country will not recover in my lifetime if ever.

Recover? Never , to much damage has already been done, whether it's economic or psychological I fear we are past the tipping point.
Our kids are being conditioned to fear everything and depend on others for their safety. They are being indoctrinated into socialism by many ( not all, deffinately not all) schools and teachers. They are being taught to deend on government for everything.
The massive give aways and the financing of this "pandemic " will have catastrophic effects on this country for decades.
Where do you think all this money is coming from? Now imagine what will happen when, not if but when China calls for us to pay off the loans.
At this point we are destined to become china west.
I hope I am wrong, really do.

I question if we really do owe China all that money. We just turned on the printers and produced trillions of dollars. Is it true that we owe China or is it just another line of bullshit from our government?

The money has to come from somewhere, everything else we have China holds the note on so why not this?
I think your right in that at least some of it they just printed, which is some of the reason for the massive inflation we are seeing. But if they just printed all of it I would thinl it would be much worse.
 
Just seems hard to believe China would "help" when they really want our country gone.
 
Covid wasn't an accident and we know where it came from but people in charge(can't call them leaders) were hell bent and lying about the origins. Joe Biden says there good folks.

Imo part of the reason the government is down playing Chinas role in this is because they dont want to piss them off.
The other part is they know we were paying for the research.
Joe wouldn't know a good folk if they bit him in the ass. As Obamas defense secretary once said :Joes been in government for 35 years, literally every decision hes ever made is wrong. And that was obamas guy saying that. Biden is a joke of a human being, sad thing is everyone in government knows it and the dems still backed him.
 
As long as biden is sitting in the big chair, I don't think we should ruffle anyones' feathers. Biden is playing checkers while everyone else is playing chess.
