Cool Website lets you see your land now as opposed to how it looked 50 years ago

I stumbled upon this website today as I was doing some researching work. It is pretty neat in that it allows you to slide a bar across the screen and watch your property go from how it appeared in the 1950s to today. The historic aerial pictures are out there to be found, I think I have found some dating back to the 1930s from some properties. But this site is cool in that it combines both the 1950s and current onto one screen that is interactive. The amount of woody encroachment in just the last 70 years on what used to be grassland dominated is mind boggling. Actually even in the last 30 years it is crazy the explosion of cedars that dominate eastern Kansas.

Same story hear, way thicker today than it was 100 years ago. I wish I could see what it looked like before settlers ran wire and took a plow to it.
