Clover and chicory “test”

New to this whole food plot thing, only going in my second year. Well I decided I wanted to plant some clover and chicory in some areas of my food plots so today I frost seeded three different clover blends in three different areas so I can see what grows the best in my dirt. I planted whitetail institute fusion, Stratton seed revival and domain hot chic. We are supposed to get rain the next three days with temps in the 60s and then go into another cold snap. Figured that both would help push it in the ground. Anybody ever planted any of these three blends and if so what were your results?

Curious what clovers they are in with that chicory? Can you post the seed label?

The hot chic just says two varieties this is the Stratton though not the label but what it shows

Sowed Stratton Revival last fall. First time planting clover for us. Will follow this thread to see how yours does frost seeded. Will let you know how ours does.

Domain seed seems to be getting popular but I don’t like the looks of the seed tag. There’s only 65% of it that is perennial seed and the mix is only 3lbs per half acre. That means they are seeding less than 2 lbs per half acre for the perennial varieties. Seems pretty light

I planted the Hot Chic this past fall with oats and rye. The chicory came up really nice. I didn't see much clover but the oats really dominated the plot, so I'm hoping it's there but hidden. I'm planning on frost seeding more of it soon. A buddy of mine swears by the Domain Outdoors products.

I'm not sure what will do best for you...Hard to tell which buck on the bag is bigger.
