Hi everyone. This is the year, when the 17 year cicadas came back. I was warned that the female cicadas lay their eggs in the ends of branches and the ends of branches will die. I am seeing that everywhere here in Western, Pennsylvania as we had them really thick. I am clipping off the dead ends of branches, not sure if it helps but I am worried about my young fruit trees. A lot of money and time invested. Any other local Pa guys seeing this? Any pointers? Thank you!
