Buy and Assemble a 40" Cultipacker/Roller for under $200!

Well, tomorrow I may try it on the lawn. For now, it's fully assembled.

Well, it worked. Maybe I overstated by calling this a cultipacker. It's a great roller and got my seed down to the soil.

I raked, broadcast and rolled.

how did the plot turn out?

I was there 2 weeks ago. The Barley and Triticale are complimenting the clover that I have in the field. Overall, I'm happy with things using the T&M method. I planted April 7th and this photo from June 8th is almost the same angle as my previous posts.

In August, I'll plant my brassica mix.
Then in September I'll throw in some winter rye.

Well, this came full circle on me...

My yard at home needed to be re-seeded and aerated. So I screwed about 200 3" screws in, dragged this around my yard (it was wet enough to sink in with no weight). And we'll see if the lawn looks better this summer.

I didn't lose any of them in the lawn (you might be wondering why I know that LOL. the answer is that un-screwed them when I was done, washed 'em and put them away for re-use).

I had nothing better to do ...20200424_133303.jpg
