Black Spots on Kieffer Pear

What are these black spots on this Kieffer Pear? There's a Sweet Advent next to it that doesn't have it. I have another Kieffer in a different field that doesn't have it either. All planted last year.

I would guess some kind of bacterial infection, possibly fireblight strikes. Those black spots are dead tissue. It seems to be pretty random like that from my experience.

Look like fireblight cankers to me

Could be fireblight or something else call black spot. There is another fungal infection that focuses on tree wounds from the wind rubbing cages, insects, or pruning. In any case a good anti-fungal is the solution. Bonide's copper spray probably would work good there. Also works good on peach leaf curl and cedarr apple rust.

I got to spray this week somehow, Already got caterpillars on almost every tree. Got to check the ones I sprayed copper on. I spot sprayed a caterpillar tent nest on a mature tree a few weeks ago. Used wasp / hornet spray.

Thanks!

We sprayed Bonide's copper spray a few days after I started this post and every week since. I cut the tops back and the branches off at the trunk. We used alcohol to clean the prunes before and after every cut. I discarded the cut portions in a zip lock bag after every cut. I was going to cut the black spots out but I wouldn't have a tree left.

I think the tree is a goner but I'm hoping all of you tell me to be patient and it will survive.

This is an Ayers Pear bought from Blue Hill Nursery when he had his half off sale. It was sprayed as soon as we planted. I think this also has the fireblight cankers, though not as prevalent as the Keiffer above. The other pears I bought at the same time don't have any spots.
