Well here it is. I decided to harvest every single piece of fruit I could find on my 100 plus fruit trees today. I actually had more than I thought. Not sure what I am going to do with it all ... Pies, cobblers, canning, fresh, who knows the possibilities are endless ha ha.

I think I have too many acres in corn ..... Well what does corn attract in addition to deer ...... Hmmmm ....... Coons. Rest assured coon trapping will be a high priority this year.

I think that is a typo :). I assume you mean Disease Resistant. Disease was not my problem. We had a really really late freeze that cut production from the bloom stage, so numbers started low, then the 17 year locus showed up and coons broke the crap out of my laterals trying to get the locust, then when the locust went back in the ground, the coons came back and destroyed the remaining fruit.

I have TWO apples and FIVE pears remaining on my +\- 100 trees. Same issues with the late frost and coons. But, I'm an eternal optimist... Wait til next year...

Yep, me too. I can't control the weather. But, I will have more apples than coons next year :). You can bet the farm on that :)
