If you want more, come on over and take as many as you want! I am not afraid of bear, I dont mind sharing the woods with them, but they are assholes! I loose a couple apple trees each year because of them, I loose a camera or two a year because of them, I need to make repairs to stands every year because of them. They have a thing for my grill. They think they must knock it over and drag it across the yard at least every spring, and fall. They will take my garbage can and drag it in the woods, spread garbage all over my yard, or a regular basis. There is such a thing as sharing the woods with nature, and just being a dick!
HAHA< you can send all you want my way, I have NO problems with them
BUT if your having damage to your stuff, maybe you need to learn a little more about bears and how to prevent problems with them>
I have bears on my deck a few times a week, 6+ months out of the yr, (or more) grill is there, and in all my yrs, NEVER had them bother my grills
I learned yrs ago, when placing camera's to be sure to wear rubber scent free gloves when handling camera's, NEVER had a camera get damages since then
after all, there is a saying,
ifg you don;t learn from things the problems will never go away!
you cannot STOP a bear from being what it is
you plant food they eat, they will try and eat it
if you have things about that smell like food they can eat(trash cans, grills or??)
a bear will JUST be a bear
live where bears are, you have to take steps to NOT have problems
if you don't
don't go blaming the bears for being what they are
there just trying to live like all wild critters are
Most bear Human problems caused by Human's! and then blame the bear for doing what natural for them!
you either have to learn to live with them, or you will be upset all your time living where there at!, NO one MAKES you live where there at!
and MOVING a bear from an area, seldom works, 90% of the time they come back
Last yr, we moved two 100 miles away,
one was back in 28 days the other was back in 30 days,
one was a 9 yr old female, (ruff weight not on a scale but measurements were taken to get a ball park on weights, and both were ear tagged)other was its 2 yr old (about a 125 lbs) he was JUST kicked out from mom's care, caught a week apart, and both were relocated to about the same area(about 5 Miles apart)
This yr we moved a 4 yr old female( about 275 lbs) 80 miles away, and she was back in 24 days
as I said, I have hands on actual bear experience here, from trapping tagging, relocating and even raising them and doing re hab with injured ones and getting them back into the wilds as well as other things!
bears are very curious animals with SUPER memories! and abilities we still don;t know how they can do many things
But being a dick?? NO not one of them IMO!
they are just what they are!
needing almost 20,000+ calories a day to have enough reserves to get thru winter,
well, they eat a LOT things and DON"T know many times IF they can eat it till they try it LOL
but 99.9 % of things they eat or try, are all found by there noses and scent!
so, if your having material things getting damaged by them, your some how having scent on them things
remove that and odds are you will have less damages if any at all!
just trying to help
