I wont give up. I told him today that I didnt want him to shoot the sow. He didnt seem to mind, but we will have to see what happens if she strolls in. The father in law scoffed at the idea of not shooting the sow and wants him to shoot her. I know there are some really big boars in the area and I would like to see him tag out before deer season opens.
Can he legally shoot a deer with his crossbow if he is bear hunting once deer season opens?? I sure as hell dont want him to plunk off one of our does. He is deadly up to 50 yards with that thing, and he really doesnt understand and could care less about anything like MDDI or save a doe.
