Anybody use Maine trailer plates?

My state of NY doesn't do the smartest of things and asks for alot of money from us in return too.

Anyone tried the maine trailer plates? Was thinking of switching my 2990lb rated 6x12 enclosed with electric brakes. Looks like it applies to that kind of trailer for out of state folks. I have a small boat trailer, but it will be registered homemade. So can't do that one. Might buy another trailer for the 12ft boat anyway though.

Anybody have a trailer registered in maine and try to sell it in your home state?

This is my cabin on wheels, insulated, electric in it, and propane heat.

I figure cops down here might give a fella a pat on the back if he had plates for his utility trailer. I think I prefer that philosophy.

With that said, I noticed on a recent road trip how common Maine plates were on semi trailers. Now I know why!
