I think it's over here. Grass is knee high and ticks are THICK! I'm still hitting traditional hotspots (just because the weather is great for mushrooms) but it would be hard to see one even if they were there.

Found a couple lbs yesterday. They weren't just freshly popped. These I overnighted to my aunt in MO.

I found 38 yesterday. About 30 of them were under one tree. The other eight were in two other spots. The other hundreds of trees I checked didn't have any. I noticed they were all in spots that the sun hit. Still a little early here in SE WI.

Never found any last year, I was either looking in the wrong places or I just didn't have any on my land.... Bummed. I'll try again this coming spring, in about 3-4 months. :)

Last couple years we have been too dry when the time is right. I think 2013 was the last time we found em by the bagfull.
