5 year old buck +
Can anyone ID this tree? This area is along a property line. A few years ago I hinge cut along the border and now these are popping up in the hundreds. The tallest I found is close to 12’ Leaves are more burgundy than purple and are serrated. Looks like some rabbit damage on the really small trees.

Probably Cherry Plum (Prunus cerasifera). Widely planted in US and has escaped cultivation in lots of places.
 
Definitely could be a version of that thanks. I’ll keep an eye on the bigger trees and see if it flowers. I haven’t noticed a lot of then until now.
