American Beautyberry?

Anyone have well established American Beautyberry on their property? To what extent do wildlife make use of it for food and/or cover? It's not invasive or spread aggressively does it? I have access to as many seeds this fall as I care to collect and am considering the value it may add as native habitat.

I have plenty of it in SE Bama and have never seen it touched.

Birds eat the seed. Deer will nibble some but just some from what I have seen. Does add a cover component in more shaded areas or on edges.
