I found these 2 university publications and thought I would share. I know their are a few guys on here that are having some logging done in the near future, and these seemed like they might have some good info.

First publication from U of Minnesota. Good, basic but thorough info on managing and regenerating oak stands. A few may have seen this already.

Second is from U of Purdue. Has a good section that explains how to set up wildlife travel corridors with your tree and shrub plantings and a great chart of at least a 100 species and it lists their soil drainage class suitability and gives one an idea of how much soil waterlogging tolerance they have.

Enjoy!
