4x8 trailer into huntin' shack

Any thoughts? Got some decent slide left/right windows. Custom flip up ones better? Likely doing plywood 2x4/2x3's and metal roof. Scooped up a 12k btu nuway heater for it.

Seat ideas? Window looking back? 4x8 enough for average length rifles? Be a squeeze for my 41" 54 cal flintlock for sure, but a run of the mill 20" marlin 336 ok?

Should I use the trailer to move it there, and reuse the trailer for woods transporter? Likely use a kubota tractor to move it there. Probably too much for the ATV. ITs got 5 lug wheels, so I will put car tires on it vs small trailer tires.

Picked up the trailer from the uncle in laws place. A little flimsy, but it'll do.

Any general advice about shooting window heights or sizes?

Is this gonna be a blind, or a place to stay while you're there?

There are limitations with 4’ blinds, but they can be overcome with planning. I assume what you are calling a “hunting shack” will be a mobile blind on the 4x8 trailer. Having hunted from one of these, consider the following:

Height: 6’ minimum. Most go from 7 to 6 to help shed water and snow.
Flooring: Consider horse mats. This strong rubber comes in 4’ rolls and keeps noise down when the inevitable dropped cartridge or coffee cup falls to the floor.
If you are not bow hunting, the windows should be comfortable height based on the chairs used. RealTree has some free plans, and recommends 34” from the floor.
Children and Youth: If so, consider going slightly lower.
Chairs: Know ahead of time what chairs you will be using. For narrower blinds, I like secretary chairs that go up and down rather than executive office chairs.

Just a blind, no sleeping Iknow of. Likely wont use it myself. For the main farm location. Wife's cousin, his kids, and wife's kids will be using it.

Here is one I built about 6 years ago on a narrower trailer. I cantilevered the sides to make room for shooting a bow. It works great. f861cc8cfaa2602fe6e2aa75fb9dfed7.jpgd26d94be3e27dfff7eb21db6a7c8dddf.jpg5f20622f7f447d6134b764d83362df28.jpg54484940a03ccc1a624232c92686ab37.jpgd9b74e25ce55003475fc4cbf4d661c24.jpg

Consider putting some stabilizer jacks at each corner or another means to steady this thing and prevent noise.
