Yes, we had pics of him the last few seasons, called him the Club Horned Buck. I almost got him two years ago, he had a huge body and a very distinct rack,
I agree I think he was an older buck too, my son is going to boil and clean his skull for a garage euro so we will be able to get a good look at his teeth

What do you do with so many? Do they keep for a while? I’ve yet to see one, but curious.

They keep for a few days in the fridge. I give quite a few away and I also dehydrated 9 batches and have them in storage. I mailed a lb to my aunt in Missouri and the scummy usps lied about timing and they still haven't arrived. So we're about to find out how well 8 day old morels turn out. Had them in an Omaha steaks Styrofoam box with bubble wrap and 2 frozen gel packs. Mailed on Mon. They were dry and unrinsed.

I have seen about ten on the edges of yards this year. Just left them alone so they can spread spores. My buddy walked in the woods a week ago and had 10 ticks on his pants and one actually bit him in the nut sack which he needed treatment.

We found a few in SW WI yesterday. Spent more time looking than I have in years...probably 4 hours worth of time. Only found them in valleys with moist soil and under trees stripping bark.

Butter fried them with seasoning and had some with a pork chop. Best mushrooms I've had and might get me to look around a bit more.

House is ~300 yards but not mine.
Road is 500 yards. Parcel is legally marked, no trespassing.
Not much for sheriff presence in the sticks, by the time I see the pictures its a few hours later and they're gone.

What is the treatment for tick bite? Never dreamed of going to Dr for a tick bite. Afterwards - I have been checked for Lyme’s Disease - but not just because I have a tick on me.

We dont have a lot of morels. I find a dozen or two some years. To me, they taste like whatever you fry them in and season them with. I prefer oysters that actually have a mushroom taste to me.
