@BuckSutherland do you know the dates for meeker SWCD tree pick up?
April is too early usually for me so I of course signed up to shoot a rifle match in IA the last weekend in April and that’s looking like a good time to plant now if trees are available.
I've been intrigued by hybrids for a number of reasons. The billing as faster growing and quicker to make acorns is pretty high on the list.
Being hybrid doesn't necessarily mean non-native. There are naturally occurring hybrids between native varieties.

SK standard + is what my cz 455 seems to like best. Was recommended as a popular less than crazy expensive option for nrl 22 matches. Not a hollow point or anything so might not kill as quick but I’d think it would work. Only critters I’ve shot with it were dispatching shots of trapped possum.

They sent a proposed parcel, i believe the idea is to just have a 33' wide path to the road as part of the parcel. I think i'm comfortable with the whole concept now having spoke with the agent more.
Weird part is on the north boundary there is a 30' wide easement for a neighbor to access their...

What would you do to cover your ass on any...
My experience is limited to smaller compact tractors but my 38 HP 4wd tractor with loader is pushing 6000# and I needed that 4wd just pulling a 5' tandem 3pt disc around. I wouldn't want my little tractor in 2wd.
Sounds good. The further the distance, the less desirable the performance on the barnes stuff gets externally and terminally. 400 yards aint a chip shot for the vast majority of hunters regardless of what equipment they have.
