    Chestnut Crab

Picked a few apples from the Chestnut Crab seedling mentioned earlier. Has a similar crunch as Chestnut, a little sweeter (not as much acidity) and fairly juicy. A good eater. Chestnut is in the center for comparison.

My Colorado Orange apple tree set some fruit this year.

    Chestnut Crab

Photos of Trail and Trailman taken today (Northern Indiana). I'll be picking both this coming week. Trail will turn completely red by the end of August, but the texture starts to go bad at that point (crisp, sweet and juicy earlier). The last photo is an open pollinated Chestunt Crab seedling...

    Broadcasted Beans

I broadcast mine roughly the same time as you and most have emerged (some of the ones that were planted deeper are still working thier way up). I'm not sure how well they'd show up on camera pics at this stage.

First time I've seen chestnut trees at Menards. They also had Triumph apple trees.

Starting Apples from Seed Indoors - How To

You can put a seed or two in each pot, and keep the rest to replace those that don't germinate and also to starting some outside. The best growth I've had on seedling where the ones planted in a protected bed outside once growing season begins.

Starting Apples from Seed Indoors - How To

No need to wait for a radicle or signs of germination. Stratification should be complete by now (plant when you're ready). Note that Jack is no longer here.

    2032r

I can't help with the def question, but I have a 2032R purchased in 2014 that has been used heavily for bush hogging and tilling over the years with zero mechanical issues. The 2032R will have no problem with your intended use.

Only Thing I have Found to Protect Fruit

That would make the trapping a challenge. Could the bait be placed in a small mesh organza type bag to minimize the fire ant problem? Also, if fire ants don't swim, another thought would be to place the bait a pan of water, sort of like like a moat (use something to keep it above the water)...

Only Thing I have Found to Protect Fruit

Primarily sardines (the cheap ones). Smoked fish works good as well (does not break down as fast in the heat). I also add some old crystallized honey. I like to dig a small 3" deep hole under the trap for the bait (ensures the trigger pan goes off when they try reaching for it).

Only Thing I have Found to Protect Fruit

Removed 13 coons from under one Honeycrisp over the past couple of weeks. They target my sweeter apple trees first this time of year.

    What weed is this?

Smartweed. It's in my clover as well.
