    Expanding last year's plot

It got hit really hard late last year. My clover did okay at this location but I have another plot nearby that I kept in clover. I'm pretty sure the soybeans won't last long, so I might do oats again this fall. I have done soil tests in this plot and the dirt is nearly perfect, didn't even have...

    Expanding last year's plot

You can't see it from that pic but behind the tractor, and to the left, I opened it up more too. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

    Expanding last year's plot

The first pic is from last year. Today I worked on widening the plot as much as possible, I'm guessing that I added a little over 3/4 of an acre to the total. I planted oats and clover last year and I'm planting soybeans this year. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

    Small Urban Plot

In my opinion, buckwheat would be the easiest considering soil conditions. You could do that the first year to build up your soil, with plans of something else in the future. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

    Cedar rubbing post

This is one my most active cameras that isn't on a feeder. It's a cedar branch that I put leaning out into my food plot. They had a scrape under it that was the size of a car hood by the end of the season. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

My 1st buck off of our property

We leased 187 acres for the past 2 years and finally had the opportunity to purchase it this summer. Since then, I have worked hard hinge cutting, making a couple food plots, planting trees, and hanging stands. This morning all the hard work has paid off, I harvested my first buck off of this...

    Food plot pictures

Put in a experimental mock scrape. Hopefully it's a little added bonus to the food plot, and they have been hammering the oats already. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

    Durana/Patriot Clover questions

I would recommend a soil sample before you add any fertilizer, and I just broadcast when I over seed. You definitely don't want to cover the seed with dirt. Try spreading the seed right before a rain and it will do fine. Sent from my SM-G920R4 using Tapatalk

    9/11 Where Were You?

I was in auto body class. I remember my teacher was a very good Christian man that some of the students thought was weird just because of how open he was about his religion. I think he gained alot of respect that day. The students were instructed to be on lock down, and we watched t.v. as...

    My First Plots

You should be glad you didn't till in the seed, that would put your seed too deep into the ground. When broadcasting seed by hand, you are better off to just drag it in with something to make a firm seed bed and cover it with very little dirt. It looks like you did very well with your plot...
