it was on it briefly but never actually functioned, it should be on the new app when that launches and function at that time, the new app should be launched by early summer , its in final stages of testing right now , IOS will be first then android after that .

yes off or repeater will do the same thing, it can take 12-24 hours for the change to occur, you can also clear the cell que and remote que and sd cards if you dont want images that are undesirable sent .

you will restrict the amount of images you get when doing this, if its a priority , you need to aim it EXACTLY where the deer will be, imagine a laser beam coming out of the camera, the deer will need to cross that beam for a photo to be triggered. anything beyond or in front of it wont trigger...

this is not something that firmware can address, if it was me and i had that issue more than once id trade it in for a L home , the L has advantages over the G and you won't have the capacitor issue again.

new firmware will be gen 3 cuddelink, they can change the capacitor in your camera to fix that issue but you would need to send it in or exchange at the retailer you purchased it from.
