then the only way you can update is manually with an sd card, the home would need to be connected to the server to receive the update.

this is the goal, updates should be over the air after that , there is also possibility that you may need manual update something in the future but the goal is all OTA going forward .

this is a new L series? its very rare to not get a link level if firmwares match , you can pm me and ill get you my number to walk thru the settings and make sure you arent missing something , but you will need the camera and another one set as the home to test it . otherwise i think you will...

it depends on the camera model, J or G will be higher resolution than the L but all the saved images will be better than the transmitted image, either way it will be saved on the card if you dont clear it .

pull the batteries and external power, let screen die, power up , do a reset in tests , then reset link settings and see if you can get a link level, also change out the sd card if these steps dont work

thats very likely your issue, the (1) on the end of the file above the one you highlighted , your computer is renaming the file you cant have any firmware file on the computer or card that is renamed, i emailed you the two files to load , its very important the card has NOTHING else on it

pm me your email and ill send you the correct files, delete all files from your computer and the cards.... the fact that you are having this issue on all unit tells me your files are not correct or your computer renamed them

it will be sent OTA in 2026 but it is highly likely you will need to visit at least some of your cameras to manually load them, in testing, mine loaded OTA to about half of them

make sure your computer didnt rename the firmware file and add a (1) or other number on the end, also make sure the card seats all the way in the camera, sometimes you need to push it slightly more, id also try a different card

if increasing you sensitivity setting doesnt do it and if you arent on 3.3 then loading that will likely fix your issue , the engineer found a bug that had cameras taking but not sending, when 3.3 is loaded it fixed it.
