Well, I just ordered a gazillion AAs (rayovac alkaline) so what about putting them in with high energy in booster? When I use these AAs up I'll get the 4D backs.

Canadian Wild Rye is one of the deadly "mean seeds." Keep your dogs out of it- it can be inhaled and the subsequent infections are often deadly. It should be illegal to plant but it is a frequent component of various habitat mixes. I'm not sure if Virginia Wild Rye has the same risks.

They eat native lupine on my place- especially the flower buds. But they eat things on my place that they don't eat everywhere; I have high deer density and poor native browse.

I don't think I'd plant ag clovers in a prairie mix. You don't want the competition with the natives and you'll be using fire to maintain it. You could add lupine to that mix for another deer-favored forb.
